A graduate of Norfolk State University and an MFA candidate at American University, Quamé has worked with Complex Media, Nike, CBS, and The New York Times Company in the name of great storytelling over the course of his career.

His most recent film, Transition, starring University of Texas star Matt Coleman III and executive produced by hiphop artist Stalley, recently completed its festival run. Currently, Quamé is in the process of producing his next short film, Recovery Chain, as well as developing the screenplay for his debut feature film, Park Kidz.

Quamé’s work, filled with familial themes and varied Black experiences, often highlights America’s underrepresented groups and interrogates cultural identity.
